It focuses on the premium beer market with Little Creatures Brewing, a wholly owned subsidiary of LWB. Even though often associated with the independent craft brewery movement in Australia, Little World Beverages Ltd actually is a public limited company, which 40% of its shares are owned by Lion Nathan, who is the one of the largest Japanese-controlled Australasian alcoholic companies. The other major shareholders include the founding shareholder and director Adrian Fini, with approximately 16% ownership; Nic Trimboli, also a founder and current Executive Director with approximately 8%; and Howard Davies Cearns, through the Cearns Family Trust and Back Veranda Pty Ltd (approximately 7%). The company was commenced and launched in Nov 2000 and it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 10th of November 2005. The company is actually regarded as one of the Australia’s leading craft beer brewers. It has produced four kinds of products which are the Little Creature Pale Ale, Little Creature Pilsener, Little Creature Rogers’ Beer and Little Creature Bright Ale. Research has shown that the Little Creature Pale Ale has been listed in the Top 10 Aussie Brews (Little World Beverages 2009). The Group's main activities are working in a brewery and packaging facility, selling draught and packaged beer and cider nationally and internationally, and conducting hospitality operations.
