Let the Truth be Told
The United States has one of the most complex and effective government systems in the world. They have helped this country overcome a conglomeration of many different issues that have arisen. Although the government is so great in power and possibilities, there are many questions left unanswered and many secrets that are kept hidden away. Many refer to these secrets or possibilities of cover up stories, conspiracy theories. Area 51, the JFK assassination and even the moon landing are amongst the infamous government cover-up stories. There are more secrets to the United States government than meets the eye. Recently there was one of the most tragic moments in United States history, the attack on the World Trade Centers Twin Towers. September 11th is a day many people will never forget; unfortunately, it is also a day which has left many questions unanswered.
Almost everyone can recall exactly what they were doing and where they were when they first heard the news of the attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11th 2001. Many sat in disbelief that day staring at the TV trying to figure out exactly what was happening. Here is the story as most know it. American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:45 a.m. causing a gaping whole and also setting fire to the interior of the building. Eighteen minutes later a second plane, United Airlines Flight 175, crashed into the South Tower causing an explosion as well. Soon after both planes hit, New York shut down all airports in the New York City area. Bridges, tunnels, and subways were also ordered to be shut down in New Jersey and New York. Already at 9:30 a.m. President Bush, while in Sarasota Florida, had declared this a terrorist attack against the United States.
