Overview of the Organization:
The organization that will be the topic of discussion in my final project paper is DeVry Inc. It is an educational for profit organization which purpose is to empower students and help them to achieve their educational and career goals. DeVry Inc. is considered as the one of the global provider of educational services and it includes more than one educational organization.
Devry focus is on providing world-class customer service to our students and internal business partners. Its vision is for each employee play a vital role in ensuring we work together as a team to improve the quality of service that we provide to our students. I work in the Student Finance Department under the online services group. I am a student Finance Analyst and I work mostly on analyzing and reconciling reports related to student’s tuition, grants, and loans offered from DeVry and the government. My focus will be on the Student Finance Department and how jobs are allocated to different employees based on their experience and points of interest.
Problem Statement:
Devry has different job guidelines and job titles given to employees in the Student Finance Department. As I mentioned, I work in the Finance department and our work style is constructed of 12 teams which perform several tasks to process student’s loans, maintain students account, and answer students call and inquires through the call center. We are supposedly working as one big team and focusing on
