Abstract
R. G. Le Tourneau’s story is about a Christian man who fulfilled his dreams of manufacturing construction equipment during the times of depression.   Even though these times were difficult, his faith and placing God first in his life, helped build a legacy during these times.

He had a favorite saying that goes like this, “there are no big jobs, only small machines.”(2) With his vision, Mr. Le Tourneau had the ability to manufacture larger machines to make workers more efficient and also the ability to make improvements amongst other machines.


GREATEST CONTRIBUTION
In reading the story and life about the late R. G. Le Tourneau it is a story of a Christian man with big dreams and ultimately a legacy that he fulfilled.   He had a favorite saying that goes like this, “there are no big jobs, only small machines.” (2) With his vision, Mr. Le Tourneau had the ability to manufacture larger machines to make workers more efficient.

Beginning in his early childhood and dropping out of school in the 7th grade through his financial hardships and almost bankrupt, Mr. Le Tourneau does a great job at telling his life.   In spite of the economy being in a depression Mr. Le Tourneau’s company continued to grow during this time, because of his creative ideas, which lead to his success. Many people joked and teased him because they couldn’t envision the greatness of his inventions.   But he didn't allow their taunting stop him from reaching his goal of assisting workers becoming more efficient and productive.   Being well known as the world’s greatest obstacle-mover in time, Mr. Le Tourneau was great at developing large dirt hauling machines.   Growing tired and overwhelmed from the obstacles of having to transport dirt and other earth materials, Mr. Le Tourneau felt compelled to follow his vision of creating a better way to build a superior...
