Re: Proposal Career Development Plan Summary
As we all know that Kudler Fine Foods is an elite gourmet food company owned and founded by Kathy Kudler. In reviewing the mission statement “Kudler Fine Foods is committed to providing our customers with the finest selection of the very best foods and wines so that your culinary vision can come true.” (The Apollo Group, Inc. 2003).
Kudler Fine Foods has three stores each located in an upscale community. Each store contains a bakery, wines, cheese and dairy products, produce and meat counter. However, one of the stores, Del Mar store is having difficult in maintaining its demand in that location.
During a meeting this week, Kudler Fine Foods reviewed several business inquiries which included various aspect of the business. It was determined Kudler Fine Foods has experienced a decline in revenue in the Del Mar store. It has been decide to relocate the Del Mar store to Carlsbad.
Due to the closure of the Del Mar and the opening of the Carlsbad store, it has been determine to restructure, designed and implemented the operations of the handling of the new store.
Kudler Fine Foods has identified six new positions for this the Carlsbad store. During the past month, several internal employees were evaluated for these six opportunities within the company. In review of the job analysis, Kudler Fine Foods has determined that the new store will consist of a Store Manager, Cashier, Stocker and Clerk, Baker, Meats and Seafood, and Produce and Fresh food (includes cheese, spirits and wines).
