Ms. Kudler,
Team D Productions has reviewed your request for a software solution in order to track sales, and generate coupons in order to retain present customers, and garner a new and expanding customer base. We have reviewed your company, spoken with you and key personnel. The following proposal will map out how we would make this desire a reality.
To begin, we would speak with more people in your organization to get more information about your company and the present customer base. Team D Productions will need to know more about the people we will work with at your company, the customers you presently have, and present purchasing trends. In particular, we will speak with your purchasing managers at each store. We’ll also interview customers shopping at your stores to gather information. This will help gain an understanding of what sells best at which location.
We’ll review the database which your company is presently using to get a better understanding of what is in place at this time. Understanding your present database will help us gain an understanding of past trends. We’ll also gain an insight as to what may be needed, or changed, and how best to read and interpret the data presently used. It will also help shape the way the data can be used once the project is complete.
Once we have a better understanding of Kudler Foods, we can begin work on designing your coupon project. Interviewing staff and customers and management will help TEAM D Productions gather an understanding of what is required in this project. We can then begin work with the software designers, once armed with this understanding or requirements. We’ll prepare a system requirements paper for the developers, and present it to them to begin work.
