Introduction: Kudler Fine Foods initiated a project to provide a monthly newsletter with information about new products and current promotions along with redeemable coupons for certain products. The project had fallen behind schedule and Kudler is requesting that an updated project plan with more details be submitted to get back on track. The initial scope of the project was to use existing demographic information to create the monthly newsletters along with coupons. These coupons will be identified by the purchasing manager each month including the details of the coupons such as quantity, cost and expiration date. The project will also provide reporting on coupon usage and related product sales.
Analysis: The coupon project has fallen behind schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. The project is completed up to step eight. Kudler is asking why the project is not on schedule. This could be due to many changes being made in either design from the manager, the designers could have been pulled to other pressing jobs or there was not enough detail put into the requirements for the project.
