Third generation mobile network or better known as 3G, is a wireless communication system for a range of radio technologies that are designed to enhance the capabilities for radio-based networks. Its main objective lies in upgrading the performance of cellular networks and supporting wireless data and multimedia services. It is expected that 3G will be a necessary underlying infrastructure for the m-commerce in the future. It is commonly expected that the third generation mobile network will enhance both the speed of the data transfer and the capacity of the network compared to second generation mobile networks.
