What Justice Means To Me

Criminal Justice in today's society is over whelming with fears of being wrongly accused for a crime that was not committed by that individual . Justice is defined in a lot of ways being able to adequately give equal punishment for crimes committed; Our justice system sets an example .

First of all, I define justice as equality under the law. In America everyone has the right to vote, freedom of speech and the right to pursue happiness. These are God given rights that extends to all men and women without prejudice; All of the rights are forms of justice. Also justice can be defined as holding people a accountable for there actions.
Secondly, some cultures are more strict then others. For example, in America people may be put on probation for steeling. Other countries my practice canning for that same offense. Some people may think that canning is too harsh for the crime, but the static's for theft are farley low when a law like this is implemented. All though there results may reflect success, the long term psychological and physical effects can be divesting
When it comes to criminal justice. There is a huge meaning behind that word. To me it means protecting and serving. Helping others in need that is why we have law enforcement. Justice is something that we all want from a Law and believe should be
an integral part in any legal system. However, the meaning of Justice is very difficult to define. There are many aspects of justice that we may question about; is a particular law just? Is the legal system just? Aspects of the issue of justice is very controversial and raises questions such as whether the combination of Law and system produce a just result? Justice has a definition as follows: ‘The quality of being just or fair, the act of determining rights and assigning rewards or punishments' Webster's dictionary.
