The problem that I’m facing is with one of my classes. I’m worried about my Macroeconomics grade, because I didn’t do as well as I planned on my first test. I’m worried that I won’t be able to pass the class, if my grades don’t improve.
2. How would I like my situation to be?
The situation that I have in my mind is raising my test scores and getting a overall grade of an A in the class.
3. Do I have a choice to make here?
Yes I have a choice to make.
4. What are my possible choices?
One of the choices I can make is designate more time to study and better prepare myself for the tests. I can also find a friend that would like to study together, which would help us both out. Lastly I can set up meeting with a tutor and they can further explain things that I’m having troubles with.
5. What is the likely outcome of each possible choice?
The likely outcome is the same for all of my choices. The outcome would be that my test grades will be improved and my grade will be where I want it.
6. Which choices will I commit to doing?
The choice that I will commit to doing is find a friend to study with. This is will help me out because we will be there to motivate each other, and also two minds are better than on.
By doing the Wise Choice Process, I learned that there might be other students in my class that are having the same problem that I have. I’ve learned that there are many different choices that I can make to reach my goal, and also that it is a very achievable goal. I am very happy that I did this process because it opened my mind to choice that I can make to improve my over all grades and make me a better student.
