JFK Assignation Report
John F. Kennedy was shot on November 23, 1963. He was shot thru the head while riding thru the streets of Dallas in a convertible Limo. The Secret Service had tried to discourage this act but, President Kennedy was there to win support for his campaign. Texas was the home state of his Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson. No one realized what happened immediately including Mrs. Kennedy who was sitting beside him. At the time of the shooting it was believed to be Lee Harvey Oswald. A couple of hours after the shooting Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested. Many people did not believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was alone in shooting. There were theories of another shooter from a different angle. Three days after the shooting on his way to jail Lee Harvey Oswald was shot to death by Jack Ruby the owner of a local bar. This shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald was caught on national live TV as millions of people around the world watched.
Many people questioned why Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald. Was this a cover up to keep him from talking about his part in this tragedy? Also, was Jack Ruby part of the original shooting?
The Warren Commission were assigned to investigate the shooting and come up with suspects. After all the investigations were done all the evidence pointed to Lee Harvey Oswald being alone in the shooting and the murder of JFK. This opinion was reached when as they were investigating the building that the shot was believed to be shot from they found a pile of boxes in a corner right by the window where the shot came from. When they examined the corner where the window was they found shotgun shells on the floor. In another corner they found the shotgun. When they asked who was missing form the building they said Lee Harvey Oswald was the only employee missing that day. That led to the arrest of Oswald.
