In the world of entertainment, television shows have unquestionably flooded every inch of space on daytime television. Many have seen the often recycled topics on shows such as Jenny Jones and Ricki Lake. Anyone who watches talk shows on a regular basis knows that each one varies in style and format. One might enjoy watching the sometimes shabby subject found on the Jerry Springer show, while someone else might prefer the more serious and light hearted feel of the Oprah Winfrey show. Despite their similarities and differences, Oprah Winfrey and Jerry Springer are both best at what they do.
First of all there are many similarities between Oprah Winfrey and Jerry Springer. For example, they both are excellent talk show host. Both have ruled the talk show circuit for many years. As a result both Oprah and Jerry have a strong following from legions of fans. Ironically, both could be considered pioneers in the talk show world. They have set the standards for talk show host to follow. Oprah and Jerry have the same focus. They both have made an effort to help the troubled people on their show. They both serve as an aid to those who have cause and need. They both are great at what they do. In short Oprah and Jerry are very much alike.
