1. SYNOPSIS

This course is introduced in order to expand the knowledge of students towards human resource management from the Islamic perspective. It discusses values and Islamic principles in managing human resource.The introduction of this course is hoped can filled the gap in practicing human resource nowadays. This course also served as an added-value to managers in facing comtemporary issues in human resource management. Therefore, this course will also help students to understang basic principles in the function of human resource management like recruitment, selection, training and development, career development, performance appraisals, compensatiuon and benefits, occupational safety and health and also industrial relations from the Islamic perspectives.

2. OBJECTIVES

This course will enable students to:

1. Discuss basic Islamic principles in human resource management
2. Enhance Islamic knowledge in managing human resource.
3. To create awareness on the importance of Islamic knowledge in managing human resource.
