For years and years social media has taken the world by storm with its great capabilities to allow people to regard what is happening in the world and communicate with others in a matter of seconds. Dramatically, improving people’s knowledge what is happening in their country, state, and city. Creating, vast amounts of friendships and relationships with others. Allowing, people to express themselves for others to examine. On the other hand, social media can become addicting and start to consume our lives for hours at a time. Nevertheless, social media can be a nightmare for numerous people, for a vast amount of people are being cyber bullied, leading to depression, hate, and suicidal thoughts and actions. The first social media website was first created in 1997, Six Degrees had been created so than people could set up a profile and start creating friends for all over. Six Degrees was just the tip-top of the iceberg, creating an instrumondable foundation that would later take communication and entertainment to a whole other level. Nevertheless, additional websites started to take form such as, Wikipedia (2001), Friendster (2002), LinkedIn (2003), and a multitude of others. Once the population could obtain these websites, the world was instantly changed, growing further technological. Jumping into today’s world, World Economic Forum estimated that in the year 2018 there will be about 2.44 billion people using social networks on a daily basis, compared to only 970,000 people in the year 2010. Social media is involved in our lives, relationships and friendships so much that every minute the world spends sending roughly thirty million Facebook messages and about 350,000 tweets.
