I. MISSION.
my mission is to enter the fashion industry.
II. GOAL.
I want a job as a Regional Visual Director and support the sale of merchandise through creative merchandise presentations, seasonal fashion trend statements, three-dimensional visual presentations
III. OBJECTIVES.

“to get a visual display job” within visual merchandising.
IV. ANALYSIS.

Industries in which I might consider taking a visual merchandising job would be in all the sectors of the industry for example I would like to work for a department store such as Bloomingdale’s Nordstrom or Barneys and work with women’s wear, men’s wear, children’s wear, accessories, and/or home products.

a. EXTERNAL FACTORS impacting the industry:

· SEASONAL TRENDS The Company experiences some seasonal trends in the sale of its products. For example, sales to the European region are often stronger than the Asian region. Social and cultural elements are strong contributing factors.
· COMPETITION The jeans industry is highly competitive. The intense competition inherent in the industry could result in the loss of customers or pricing pressures.
· OUTSOURCING: the practice of subcontracting manufacturing work to outside and especially foreign or nonunion companies
· The current economic downturn has led to the overall doom in several industries, including fashion and apparel. Overall statistics have all shown that Americans are spending less on fashion. Moreover, the spending pattern and demographic
classification of the market have all altered.


b. INTERNAL FACTORS impacting the industry.
· TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGES AND PRODUCT TRANSITIONS
