The internet is defined as a world wide series of interconnected computer networks that are open for the publics use. It is basically a network of networks with millions different types of networks which work together to bring information as well as communication to a user from all over the word. The internet today is a lot differnt from when it first came out. Nowadays the internet is constantly evolving at a very fast rate and more people are turning to the series of interconnected computer networks because of how easy it is to accomplish tasks online. All this is a great benefit to society and help us improve technology, but it has its flaws. The internet has many benefits yes, however, it also has many dangers as well.
The internet can eventually lead up to anti socialism. With the internet becoming more required in our life because of school, collage, work, or research I think the temptation of using the internet is greatly heightened. Some people will start to use the internet more for communication rather its other uses. Some examples of this is sites like: Facebook or Myspace, these sites are used by millions of collage students as well as adults so they can keep in touch, but not only is the internet doing that it is also allow people to meet online as well. Less and less people are going out to hang out and socialize because they can do it all at home in front of a computer. Most people that use Facebook or Myspace have phone they just choose these sites to socialize rather than they're phones.
With constant use of the internet can lead to internet obsession. Like shopping or gambling for a couple examples. They might start off as hobbies at first and then they might even become a passion, but if the user is not careful they can become an obsession and take over his or her life. This can happen when a user become obsessed with shopping and is spending more money than the user has. This can put the user deep into debt as...
