The Internet – a blessing or curse?
Nowadays the internet is a widely spoken about creation and has become the invention of the century. The internet brings us as a society a lot of convenience hence why we highly depend on it these days. However, with its level of convenience the internet can also act as a weapon for us. Therefore we can argue whether the internet is actually a blessing or a curse to us and in this essay we are going to discuss about it and then make a conclusion to what we think.
As a student, you benefit highly from the Internet as you always have to deal with it in the daily student life. You can research the different topics for your assignment and write them down which avoids you stressing and thinking about the answers yourselves and this also saves you a lot of time and is faster for you to do. Any information on any topic under the sun is available on the internet. You can research the different topics through the search engines; Google, Yahoo etc that are at your service 24 hours a day, at any time. Also information on medical issues is always being updated and as days go by there is an increasingly number of people who use the internet to research medical diseases and issues. The information that we can collect using the internet is denser then an encyclopaedia, therefore we are confident that information gained from the internet is more detailed and therefore we can get a few extra marks here and there. regardless of the benefits that the Internet has for us as a student, it can also help our friends as we can share the information that we have found out by simply sending them an attached file email, which again is a cheap and easy form of sharing information and communicating. This leads us to the big advantage of the Internet, which is communication. The main target of the Internet has always been communication and although the Internet has already excelled beyond expectations, there are still modern improvements being made in

Providing Internet in schools can be beneficial to students because it can provide students with greater learning capabilities. Before the Internet one would have to scour through many books just to find one small piece of information. With the internet this problem is resolved. One can easily search for the topic and get relevant statistics and extra, more updated, information that one cannot find in a book. The internet can provide this and expands learning outside of the classroom. Through the use of this amazing development we can all be more effective in our work. An example that may illustrate this is a student who needs to write a research paper for school and without the internet he would be all day in a library looking through irrelevant books, but with the internet this all changes. He may now find his information effectively and find other online resources that may assist him in his efforts. The Internet not only provides more information about what was covered in class but extra information and skills that may be applied outside of school. It can answer questions that others may not know completely. The Internet is a critical part of learning in our…
