Team Members' Roles
The purpose of this paper is to give an understanding of each team members' role and to establish the role of each team member. The individual team member starts out by determining each team members' role by establishing a team. The team individual members' roles are created by using the Tuckman's Four-Stage Theory of Group Development such as: forming, storming, norming and performing. The first stage which is forming as described in the team individual members' role is "How do I fit in?" I fit in by being the backupteam leader when Fred is absent or can not be available. The second stage is storming "What's my role here?" I believe my role during this stage is to figure out what my strengths and weaknesses are and work on them each day during which ever course I happen to be taken. The third stage is norming "What do others expect me to do?" My team members' expect me to participate in every class and if I can't get something done to come to them and let them know the situation so that the teamcan agree on a resolution. The final stage which is very critical to the success of the team as a whole is performing "How can I best perform my role?" I perform best when I am not rushed for time and can sit down and concentrate on which ever assignments need to be completed by a certain due date.
