1. The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists. Gideon Defoe. Published in 2004.
2. The Pirate Capitan bears no other name than that. He his said to be one of the most feared pirates on the sea but also has a sentimental side that shows in amazing moments of glory. He is loved by his crew and loves them equally back. The biggest fear that haunts the Pirate Capitan is losing his famous and well talked about beard. He has had it forever and it has become more of a symbol than jus a facial accessory.
3. Most of the characters in this book have very little descriptions then what they are called by. All the pirates on the ship, excluding the Pirate Capitan, have simple names that don’t really have names in them at all. For example, the pirate with a green scarf, the pirate with a bad face rash, the pirate with asthma, and the pirate with a lisp. All these characters never really play a specific major role but seem to be the backbone of the Pirate Capitan’s ship. Without them nothing would ever be accomplished and he would be poor and not a famous pirate.
4. Clearly not enough facial hair and far too underdressed. The Pirate Capitan finds that you can learn everything you’ll ever need to know by just a person’s facial hair and our school clearly has a lack of it. Being dressed in a certain way can also tell you about a person and their traits. The Pirate Capitan wears nothing but the finest sail coats hats and gloves. All with gold buttons and mother of pearl decorations. He would see our school as a land loving type and not like it very much. Though we live by the sea we don’t live on in it and that is the most important aspect.
5. The first encounter with the Pirate Capitan himself is probably one of the most detailed and amazing parts of this book. His black sea worn hair sways with the sea breeze as his crimson coat follows. His eyes have a soft feel but can snap in to a stern storm...
