Immigration In America Essay
Some of the most influential entrepreneurs are immigrants. Based on INC. by Adam Bluestein, Derek Cha, who had arrived in America when he was 12 years old with his parents and three siblings. Derek and his family had immigrated due to poop poverty in their home country, South Korea. Derek’s parents worked as dishwasher, janitor and etc. At age 16, Derek started his first job, working at a McDonald's restaurant. Now at age 49, Derek is the owner of the 350-store chain of Sweetfrog, which has more than $34 million in revenue. It had opened jobs for almost 800 people and still growing. This is one of many stories of immigrants who arrive in America for good reasons and help boost the American economy by opening up businesses and providing jobs

Based on Livescience.com by Kim Ann Zimmermann, LiveScience Contributor, every known religion that is practiced in the United States is based on religious freedom. “Different groups of immigrants integrate in different ways” De Rossi claimed, there are many types of religion for an example, Catholic, Christianity, Hindu, Buddhist, and etc. In America there is no known language because every language in the world is spoken in the United States. When immigrants leave their home place, they don’t leave their traditions. As they live in America, their parents carry on their traditions to their children and so on. For an example, Hispanics have a tradition with their daughters. When they turn 15, it means party time! It’s a big party with a big traditional dress, the traditional flavored cake(tres leche, milk cake), and it's celebrated with all the family. When the girls turn 15, it’s a transition where their little girls are turning into a young woman. Having this party, is really meaningful to the girls and especially to the parents. Hispanics also celebrate the day of the dead, which from the begins on November 1 and ends on November 2. On the day of the dead, they honor and remember their dead ancestors by offering bread and food to their spirits.
