Management theory industry it is a theory providing prescriptions about how to rescue and renovate contemporary companies (Dougherty & Dreher, 2001, p. 4).
Selectivity in Recruiting Certainly in Inter-Clean they are screening all employee’s and looking to hire new employee’s that have or will have the appropriate background and skill sets that will ease the transition and allow Inter-Clean move to a solution-based selling model to be a success (Scenario). Selectivity in Recruiting is about people being able to acquire new knowledge and skills as jobs and environment change (Dougherty & Dreher, 2001, p. 6).
Training and Skill Development Inter-Clean’s HR department already sees that the budget is going to be tight and therefore they determined that they want to give out training but they want to give minimal training to new hires and they want to focus the training on the managers so that they can effectively implement the change to the solution- based selling.
