How To Btec Business Level 3 Unit 3 P3 Business
The three businesses that I have chosen are Marks and Spencer’s, BBC and Easy jet. I will be talking about why each organisation has a website and how their online presence helps them achieve their business goals.

The online business is growing for years so Marks and Spencer’s have adopted the online marketing plan to their advantage and are equally as active as there are on the sales floor. Marks and Spencer’s is a growing business that keeps developing higher standards for their customers so it’s important for them to improve their online services. Marks and Spencer’s has doubled their sales since the website launch a decade ago. One of their aims is to make a certain amount of profit so they are achieving this by the online websites and the sales that they make. Marks and Spencer’s are improving their websites all the time and also they are trying to update their page regularly. Their website layout and elegant colours make the page look more welcoming to the customers and their aim is also to keep the customers coming and buying regularly from their website.

This website is a non commercial website because it doesn’t sell any products to the general public and instead gives valuable information such as the weather, news, sports news or educational information such as helping with studies like the BBC bite size website. The website might not be filled with bright colours or doesn’t look very nice but it is mostly used for the news or public information that it displays. BBCs aims might be a bit different to other commercial organisations because the BBCs is not focusing much on making profit through their website they are more focused and the quality and accuracy of their information. My research suggests that the BBCs biggest aim interims of the online audience is to make their company known worldwide and make it popular among

Written Communication – this involves any type of interaction between people using the written word. It is usually a very formal method of communication and is used both internally and externally by the business. Internally between staff written communication is very common in all businesses, including Thorpe Park, some examples of internal written communication would be employee contracts, memos, reports, employee manuals, emails and many more. Also written communication would be used to get in touch with other businesses for their business-to-business relationships, which might include sponsors of the park, food chains and suppliers. Written communication is common for business to business to ensure a formal and professional method and to also provide paper work and contracts between the businesses that may need to be kept for reference or legal purposes. Written communication is also used to transfer information to customers. If Thorpe Park receives any complaints from customers through an email or a letter to deal with this complaint they would…

The National Health Service (NHS) is an organisation in the Public sector, this means that it is provided and funded by the government through taxes, and it provides a service. It is health care system, provided to anyone regardless of age, race and income; free of charge to prevent diseases and illnesses. It was founded in 1948 with the aims to improve the quality and length of life of local people; to provide better services where they are needed most; and to help people to take more control of their health. Although one of its aims is to provide a service to the local people, the NHS is a national business; it has over 400 hospitals/clinics in the UK but not in any other country, therefore not allowing it to be an international or global organisation. The NHS does not have hospitals in other countries as the service is only provided to people paying taxes in the UK.…

In my investigation I will be studying the use of language during the live general election debates in 2010. The election was the first of its kind seen in the UK whereby all parties would take part in three live TV debates across three different broadcasters, Sky News, ITV and BBC. All questions asked were not disclosed to the leaders before the debate and of course, the stakes could not be higher, with a potential prime ministerial role on the line.…
