Considering that water resources are limited mostly during the summer, this has brought much inspiration to talk about the scarcity of water resources we have today. For numerous reasons, such as drought, the ever-growing human population, and etcetera, water resources are limited. However, the biggest problem that has contributed to the scarcity of water has been water pollution. Although we are going through a drought currently, even more water resources are being limited for optimal use as a result of the pollution.
The rates of water pollution in the world are amongst the highest it has ever been at any point in time of history. Our populations are slowly becoming poison and being put at the serious risk of cancer, illnesses, and even death as a result of the high levels of toxins and pollutants, which are found in water supplies. These waters are being used to bathe in, drink, water agriculture, and used for cooking/fishing amongst a variety of other alternative uses.
Water pollution consists of adverse effects on water, allowing for the water to become quite unusable for what one would prefer it to be used. Water pollution triggers major changes in both the water quality and the ecological condition in water. Pollution in water consists of a wide variety of chemicals and pathogens – shifting the physical chemistry of water.
Water pollution can be brought about from various industrial wastes such as heavy metals, resin pellets, organic toxins, oils, nutrients, solids and organic wastes such as sewage, discharges from power stations and silt bearing runoff from agriculture, deforestation and construction sites. Large factories in cities all over the country openly spew their toxic pollutants into the water without thinking twice about what damage it is causing even them selves. Soot, ash, and sulphur dioxide, along with other chemicals, are being pumped into water sources instead of being channeled into proper disposal methods. Water...
