“Do you really feel assured when you have insurance? In case shit happens.” (Chris Rock) Many people pay high rates to have health insurance or do not have any at all. This is a great issue in America among the head lines today. There are government and private health insurance companies which claim to help you but some find it to be a scam. Many Americans have medical bills that they pass on to a loved one after they pass a way. This leaves a Burden on the family. Why will the insurance companies not help? This is because America is a capitalistic society and these company’s are in the money making business. Since then they have had a monopoly in the market and are able to charge what ever they want, similar to the oil prices because it is a capitalistic society. The sensitivity of the subject is a big issue due to the racial aspects of it. The three main issues of discussion are affordability, illegal immigration, and government run health care.
Illegal immigrants receive free health care from the government along with many other free services. This is a large expense to America. This is a reason America is in debt. The American people have to pay for health care for people who are not supposed to be here versus people that are rightful citizens that have none. This poses the question of do we help those that flee their country or help those in need in America? The answer is complicated due to the fact that there are so many laws and that many are being made currently. This is a heated issue among who that has caused protest and violent crimes. One could assume that it is a needed basis to support America itself. This is because of illegal immigrants being cheap labor. America was built off of cotton, tobacco, and slaves, they all have been replaced, but they are still needed. There is contradiction though, in that America supports and rewards illegal acts if you are not apart of its country, but will punish you if you are. We need the illegal...
