Thesis?
B. Thesis and Hercules are very similar in their actions and thoughts.
C. In this discussion we will explore the similarity's of bravery,
intelligence, and adventures concerning Hercules and Thesis.
II. Body Paragraph I
A. Hercules and Thesis had very similar adventures.
B. Thesis went and killed the Minotaur because he wanted an adventure and Hercules had an adventure when he completed the twelve labors. When Thesis went and killed the bull he knew there was a great chance of death, "the minotaur is a monster" (Edith Hamilton 212). The twelve labors seemed impossible.
III. Body Paragraph II
A. They were both brave in their tasks.
B. Thesis went to kill the Minotaur, this was a brave task because the Minotaur is a feared beast like creature and no one has ever killed the Minotaur. Hercules was brave because "each one of his twelve labors was all but impossible" (Hercules Hand Out). But Hercules and Thesis still risk death even though they knew they could die.
IV. Body Paragraph III
A. Hercules and Thesis are both very intelligent.
B. Hercules intelligence shines when he has to get the golden apples. "He ask Atlas to hold up the sky for him while he puts a pad on his shoulder" (Edith Hamilton 233) and Atlas says yes so Hercules snatches up the apples and runs off with them. Thesis used his brain to figure a way back out of the maze after he killed the Minatare. He used string and that is what led him back to safety.
I. Closing Paragraph
A. Now that you know the similarities of Hercules and Thesis you
can decide who the best hero is.
