It was dark and Yuffie had just regained consciousness. Her head was still in pain, but she had to find her father. She got to her feet and started running through the dark forest of Ephystia. She was looking in all directions, though everything was dark and it would be hard to see your own feet for you and me, Elves tend to have much better vision. They also have a great sense of hearing as well, though the rain was throwing it off a little bit. She looked to her left, just in time to see three large goblins drag her father though a door. She darted for it but her effort was wasted, for they slammed the door shut and it seemed to have a magical force keeping it closed. She slammed her clenched fist against the oak door, but it was useless. As much as she wanted to help her father, it was pointless to sit in the cold rain, risking herself in the goblin infested forest that was Ephystia. She put her hood up and started walking back to the cave that her and her father were staying in. The rain started getting very heavy, so she made a rush to get to the cave, sprinting as fast as any elf can. Reaching her cave, she ripped her hood off and picked up her tinderbox from the cave floor. Yuffie still had some wood left from the fire they used to cook dinner, so she lit it and threw laid her water drenched robe next to the fire to dry. While her robe dries, I’ll explain a little more about her. Yuffie was your average 22-year-old Elf. Her father had trained her using Swords, Longbows, Unarmed Combat, and she was a very skilled warrior. She was about six feet tall, and weighed around 110 pounds. She wore leather armor, and carried a longbow made from a mystical yew tree. She also carried two short swords, a dagger, and a small container to keep water in.
