You are at your graduation dinner. Your best friend or favorite relative stands up and talks about your five most significant strengths that contributed to your successful graduation from college. What do you think they are? I have had a lot of friends in my life, but none are as kind, as thoughtful, as motivating and as inspiring as Elizabeth. She has long been an example to me of how a dedicated student should be. She is the kind of person who makes sure everyone feels included in what is going on. She always goes above and beyond expectations, even when she thinks no one will notice. She knows how to keep a team focused and how to prioritize her daily tasks at hand. She is forward thinking and always anticipates what needs to be done next to keep a project going. Elizabeth has always been there to help her friends no matter what has happened. That is why I am honored to know her and proud to be part of her graduating class. As my classmates and I move out into the world, I am sure that I will not be the only one to look to Elizabeth to be an example of an honorable and successful person and friend, just as she has been an example of a trusted friend, a thoughtful team member and a hard working student.
