As America grows so does the percentage of the trends that America people make up and follow as a community or an individual. In this paper it is going to talk about some trends that are now in the American culture such as social, political, personal and religion. Over the course of many decades, America’s values on marriage as a social whole got dramatically weaker! Many people in society have asked the question, why? Well throughout the years, the chance of American adults getting married and having a successful marriage became significantly less. The average percentage of marriages per 1,000 unmarried women dropped substantially, also the adults who were married. Therefore, the adult that was married would less likely describe marriage as a happy one. However, there were very high rates of divorce and an increase in the percentages of single mothers and a decrease of married couples, and a steadily decreasing proportion of American children living with both biological parents that were married. Over these decades, according to many measurements, married couples could no longer carry on with procreating the population. The respected scholar James Q. Wilson recently described the weakening of marriage as the most important domestic problem in the country. It drives or causes social problems such as child poverty, educational failure, teen suicide, mental health issues, unwed teen mothers, and many others. Here\\\'s one example, one of every three divorces in the United States resulting in the physical separation of a father from his children plunges the mother and children into poverty. When a marriage between a wife and husband fails, is also a reason for child poverty in the United States. These trends, while probably most advanced in the United States and in the other English-speaking countries, are to some degree global in nature, leading some scholars to speculate about a world trend toward the post nuclear family societies in which a husband and wife...
