Pratically anyone who reads, studies or just listens to others, has heard the
story of dice for the cloak of a cow. Sure, its old news. It's also evidence of a
phenomenon still in place,and little has changed through the years indeed, centuries.
It exists in every culture in the world GAMBLING.
Gambling of course, we all gamble. For example, "Don't buy life insurance",
"Spend each weekly pay-check expecting to have another pay-check next week",
"Buy a home", "Invest in stocks","Move to a new city, expecting to find a better job,
better life, new and better friends"? It is all a risk, isn't it? Risks is legitimately sanctioned
by society. Gambling is Gambling pure and simple. The question is "is it a trap to take
advantage of the at risk population? (Dr.Jerry Stupp) The bottom line is that if you
take the chance and participate in any risky decision on matter how small it may
appear to you just gambled. Dr. Jerry Stupp said " Gambling isn't even an issue,
addiction is the issue" and with that statement gambling is addictive. It seems
that looking with reason at the concept of addition would be more valuable before
one focuses on any specific addiction, such as online casino gambling, or any
gambling for that matter.
(Arthur T. Horvath, Ph.D) defines an addiction as the repeated craving to
experience an activity or substance for which one is willing, if necessary, to pay a
price or accept negative consequences.
So let us take a moment to discuss the real issue which is; gambling is an
emotional experience that one attempts to resolve with a "logical choice" that offers
