Foreshadowing In Ray Bradbury's 'Multiple Craft Moves'
Craft Moves Essay Ray Bradbury focused on multiple craft moves, similes, descriptive words, and foreshadowing to give readers a painted picture in their mind while reading and to also be able to predict what will happen in the end. The first craft move Bradbury uses is foreshadowing . In the story Bradbury uses foreshadowing by hinting out through the whole story that the parents get eaten before it happens. For example “You see, there are the lions, far over, that way. Now they’re on their way to the water hole. They’ve just been eating. Said Lydia”’(Bradbury 1). Another example is “Nothing over there but a cleaned bone, and the vultures dropping for what’s left.”
