4. Task for this assignment: Using information from the documents and your knowledge of United States history, write an essay that compare and contrasts US nuclear weapons policy during the Cold War with nuclear weapons policy today under the current Bush administration.
5. As this is a PERSUASIVE ESSAY, your essay should take a position (using a strong, well-forecasted thesis statement) and support it.
6. You will need to use the sources provided in the DBQ and cite them in a well-organized essay. This means you will need to use MLA documentation in your essay and a Works Cited at the end. (The page length requirements are NO fewer than 3 pages, but you may always write more).
7. You may also wish to conduct some research on your own, and include your findings in the essay. Also, remember that you have information from Part A that you may wish to include.
