2. Open flash

3. Choose FILE NEW ActionScript 2.0 (To create a new movie)

4. Locate the tool bar on the right hand side(can be placed anywhere)

Experiment with the many different drawing tools there.

Have a go at making all different shapes. Use different colors. Try things.

Have a go at drawing a yellow goldfish in blue water. (Something like this great picture I have drawn below.)

[pic] 5. Save the file as movie1.fla

FILE SAVE AS movie1_ur_initials.fla

Have a go at drawing a red button with a blue STOP in the middle.

2. Drawing using the Grid and snap to grid

1. View

2. Grid

• Select Show grid • Select Snap to grid
3. movie2_ur_initials.fla

3. Using Layers

1. Create a new document and save it as movie2.fla

FILE NEW ActionScript 3.0 OK FILE SAVE AS movie2.fla

2. Draw a large blue circle

3. Now insert another layer INSERT TIMELINE LAYER

4. Draw a slightly smaller red circle inside the blue circle. (Notice the change in the timeline) LAYER1 LAYER2
5. Insert another layer INSERT LAYER

6. Now use the text tool to write GO (in black writing inside the circle)

Your flash document and the timeline should look something like below.

[pic]

The layers are like a stack of overheads with drawings on them. The order in which the layers are stacked are important. You can see in the timeline that Layer3 (GO) is on the top while Layer2 (red circle) is 2nd and Layer 3 (blue circle) is on the bottom.

You can change the order of the layers by clicking on and dragging them in the timeline. Have a go at changing their order. It makes a big difference.

The pencil in the timeline indicates the layer

The dominant colors are sea blue, a tint of gray, and within the cracks, a soft gold. Only a few soft colors are being used, therefore creating a muted piece of art. There is a certain sense of harmony in the vessel because the gold and the grayish-blue combine well together forming a balance that does not allow one color to show more vividly than another.…

We begin by first noting the primary layer of earth, labeled “chalk” on both figures. This original chalk layer dates back to the original Neolithic burial mound and will be an important feature in determining the time periods of the different strata and the processes to which they relate. We then notice that layer 6 from East and layer 4 from West are the same buried soil. We can assume that this is the first layer on top of the chalk layer. From this point forward is where it becomes interesting.…

A fish has long been seen as the perfect “starter pet”. Parents who are skeptical of their children’s ability to care for a larger animal will often present their offspring with a goldfish before introducing a dog or a cat to the household. While it is true that goldfish do not require quite as much attention as their four-legged counterparts, marine pets are not as easy to raise as everybody seems to think. If a fish is to thrive and survive in your care, you must make sure the water in your aquarium is the right temperature, is free of chlorine, and has a low pH level. Failure to adequately prepare the water for your fish will ultimately lead to their death, likely after several weeks of illness and lethargy. Experienced aquarists may be…
