Founded in 1969 by Doris and Don Fisher, the first Gap store opened in San Francisco with the concept of a simply store for customers to shop a wide range of fits and styles. Today, there are more than 3,000 stores in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, France, and Japan. Each brand has its own characteristics to serve customers:
