EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of writing this report is to enhance my knowledge on the topic that most interests me. Fashion photography is an essential part in the fashion world. The scope of writing this report is to learn all I can about fashion photography and use my findings in the future. I began my research by referring to some books from the library. Then I referred to the web. I learnt many interesting facts. I learnt about the techniques used in fashion photography, the lighting used, famous photographers, various cameras and its features and the types of fashion photography. It was a lot of fun working on this report.

INTRODUCTION
Everyone wants to see exciting pictures of beautiful people and great products presented with incredible artistry. Nonetheless, the phrase fashion photography means different things to different people. Whether they are involved with the fashion industry or just a viewer of the final results makes a difference.
To a photographer, fashion photography is a way to express himself, the models, and the products as one coherent piece of art. The fashion photographer tries to bring to all three a liveliness that transcends each one individually, and to simply make the viewer stop, stare, and think “wow! I want to go out and buy that Valentino evening dress or that pair of Jimmy Choo pumps or that new Louis Vuitton handbag!” although photographers may be limited by their budgets and by any reins that the creative director might place upon them, their goal is to invoke desire and passion in the viewer by creating a memorable shot. A photographer’s vision is ultimately his or her own unique way of seeing things; this

This paper has been far more difficult to research than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, photographers are not always given the full credit they desrve for their work and therefore, it is impossible to find the names of the artists of some of my favorite photographs. Instead, I decided to just look up popular photographers in the fashion industry in hopes of having easier access to information. Despite the fact that I now had the names of some of the most world famous fashion photographers, finding information on them is a whole other story in and of itself. As I am beginning to realize, the saying among the photography department is true- if you are not Annie Leibovitz, you will not be known until you are dead. For example, one of my favorite photographers is Diane Arbus. She had compiled vast amounts of work throughout her career. Unfortunately, all of her works were found in a locker after her suicide and then she was seen as an artist. To summarize what I am saying is that the only famous photographers are dead ones and all the successful ones are barely known. So in order for this research paper to even have the possibility of making it it to four pages, I am going to have to choose the cliché (yet greatly talented) photographer, Annie Leibovitz.…

What is fashion? Fashion is wearing clothes, shoes, and accessories in the way that you like and sometimes praised by people. Nowadays, there are many magazine, newspapers, websites, and blogs are all about fashion styles. Many photographers take photos of famous stars, rich people, models, and designers’ runways. Bill is a photographer “on the street”, and he doesn’t care who is the person that he is taking the picture of. He only cares if he is interested in the styles that people are wearing or not. I have observed his photos, and I found out that Bill was also very concerned about details. He took picture with specific details such as shoes whether high or low, the hair styles whether they are suitable for the clothing or not, and the accessories whether they are still good looking with the clothing or not. I like this man and this film because Bill is not only working with the fashion, he also concerned about people’s arrangement skills of the clothing and give them comments when he is editing the pictures with his colleagues, he put his whole life with fashion and he is still passionate, and he is recording fashionable elements of details with the whole New York city, likewise, his photo, magazine, and newspaper collections are the fashion history of New York city.…

In recent years, majorities of people across the world consider ‘fashion’ as a status symbol and see it as a sign of growth and prosperity. Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, make-up etc. The word ‘Fashion’ refers to a distinctive; however, often-habitual trend in a look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior. Generally speaking, it is the latest creations made by designers and is bought and used by only a limited number of people immediately after its launch. However, often those fashions are translated into more established trends. Technically speaking, the term, ‘costume,’ has become so linked in the public eye with the term "fashion" that the more general term "costume" has in popular use mostly been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while the term "fashion" means clothing generally, and the study of it. For a broad cross-cultural look at clothing and its place in modern society, refer to the entries for clothing, costume and fabrics. Moreover, fashion icons and fashion leaders are closely related to the huge crowds who like fashion and followed fashion. This project work tries to highlight and analyze the differences between the identity and transmission route of China and Britain's fashion icon and fashion leader. The idea of this project…

(Choose a garment, which can be used to discuss fashion from the point of view of the consumer. This garment must be able to demonstrate how the consumer individually constructs their identity and conveys that identity through the style and styling of clothing. You should treat this garment as an object as a form of evidence, which can help you to explain theories of fashion discussed in the sessions. The intention of your analysis is to examine the ways in which we can ‘read’ objects and images, understand their meanings and explain them in the context of broader theoretical and social concerns. You should aim to be as analytical as possible. You may want to use further objects or garments or examples within your presentation to help to explain your ideas though only 1 object should be your main focus. You can either use the actual object or use images and films to analyse and discuss your findings. Therefore your essay should be supported by ideas from readings and books as well as the objects and images themselves.)…

New York is the world's largest city of fashion in the present day, but this relationship is only one that has been established in the last century or so. Paris was the centre of fashion since fashion's beginning, but throughout fashion's history, America has come out as the present leader in fashion. Fashion has evolved into something that is no longer dictated by high society, but accessible by all people. Many things have influenced the way American women's fashion has panned out over the centuries, whether it is belief systems of the time, or major events in history. It is a process that can be followed and observed giving answers to why and how fashion has evolved over time. Today, America and its women have helped fashion develop into a force in which anonymous everyday citizens decide what is popular and fashionable.…
