Their were many contributing factors in the rise of fascism throughout the early 1900’s especially in Germany. The biggest factor that contributed to the rise of fascism in Germany in my own opinion was the harsh treatment that Germany received during the Treaty of Versailles after World War I. They took all of the blame for starting World War I. After that I feel that the Great Depression in Germany had the most significannot
impact on the rise of fascism in Germany.
To talk about the significannot
rise of fascism in Germany we first have to define fascism. Fascism is a nineteenth century ideology. It started to come out in 1870. Fascism is a totalitarian state to the extreme right of the political spectrum. Fascism generally occurred in countries that had already experimented with socialism, capitalism and democracy and failed. Germany did experiment with all of these political ideologies and failed miserably with them all. The biggest idea passes by a fascist state is that the “state is greater than the sum of all of its individuals.” In fascist Germany they had a saying “Deutschland Uber Alles.” Which means Germany over all!! In a fascist state you never tell the truth. The bigger the lie you tell to the people the better off you are. Hitler told the entire world that the Arian Race was the most dominate and greatest race in the world and everyone else was inferior, that seemed to work for him he was able to rally all of Germany to feel the same way. In a fascist state you never want to reason with the people, the leader should use emotional outreaches to rule. Fear is the most useful emotion to rule with. People respond tremendously to fear. If the people are afraid of you they will do just about anything that you want them to do. Possibly the second most important ideology in a fascist state is an appeal to racism.
