Face With The Homeless Research Paper
The most memorable moments of this journey were the individuals who wanted to come to the van and pick out their new coat or hat. I realized there are people out here that don’t get to walk into a store and go shopping. Reality was hitting me and it was overwhelming. I wanted to do more and go to more stops to help more people. I was not afraid, I was touched by each one of them. They had amazing advice and stories to share. They were all so grateful for what we were doing for them.
I almost feel I didn’t have enough contribution to this group. When I came face to face with the homeless I realized how much more they still needed. My initial contribution could never seem to be enough for this project, but could I ever have enough is
