Euthanasia is the act of intentionally causing the painless death of a sick person.

In terms of a physician’s action, it can be passive in that a physician plays no direct
role in the death of the person or it can be active in that the physician does something
directly to cause the death. When a person commits an act of euthanasia he brings
about death of another person. Euthanasia is a practice of mercifully ending a person’s
life in order to release the person from an incurable disease, intolerable suffering or
undignified death. Euthanasia differs from assisted suicide, in which a patient
voluntarily brings about his or her own death with the assistance of another person
typically a physician. Active euthanasia involves painlessly putting individuals to death
for merciful reasons, as when a doctor administers a lethal dose of medication to a patient.
Passive euthanasia involves not doing something to prevent death, as when doctors refrain
from using an artificial respirator to keep alive a terminally ill patient. In voluntary euthanasia,
a person asks to die either by active or passive euthanasia. Non voluntary euthanasia refers to
ending the life of a person who is not mentally competent to make an informed request to die,
such as a comatose patient. In my opinion I don’t agree with euthanasia because the ten
commandments states thou shall not kill. So therefore physicians shouldn’t commit murders
whether it’s the patients will to do so or not. However it is a very understandable situation
if someone who is terminally ill that isn’t going to get any better in health and wants to die.
We shouldn’t judge that person for what he/she wants to do as far as living or dying. That’s
