People use technology to be able to connect to their friends and family. What are the positive effects and the negative effects of this?
People use technology to do many things in our world today. We use them to be able to connect to one another wherever we are. We use it to look things up on the internet without having to be at home on our computer. We also use it to chat with one another over the internet, instead of calling them. Also we now have cell phones in which we can use to call people anywhere; we can send text to talk to people, and also we can now use them for going onto the internet like a laptop.
Laptops are mini portable computers that can do word processing, chatting, going onto the internet, watching movies, and etc. Many people use laptops for their own reasons. Students use their laptops for going to school and business people use their laptops for trips when they are going out of the country. Using a laptop is a great device in which you can now go to places like star bucks. Many people go to these places with to use the internet to do homework or other business stuff. Also students use laptops for school which is a great thing. The plus about having a laptop is that you can be in class and you can take notes for a class and also be able to do homework in the libraries. The down side about students having a laptop at school is that they can be distracted from taking down notes because of either the internet, music, watching videos, and even chatting online. There are other electronics that have a big impact on our lives today as well as the laptops.
There are also pagers and cell phones that we use to keep in touch with friends, family, and also associates. The pagers are a great idea because you can reach a person by calling their page and they can get back to you by calling your number that shows up on the pager.
