Although eating a well balanced diet is generally beneficial for your health, unhealthy
foods accosionally will not hurt you and actually be good for you.

Food groups for eating healthy

Why people need to follow the main food groups? People today are constantly bombarded by mixed messages about what to eat, But if they would only follow the main food groups that we are suppose to eat then they should not be getting those mixed messages.
What food groups are most important to follow and why? There are three most important main food groups that we should all follow.
1) Grains – Is the most important and potent health- building food group. The good nutrition of these foods is unsurpassed because they contain the secret of life itself- The germ. The germ is the reproductive power and spark of life in all seeds. And it is essential to life, health, and reproductive ability. This food group contains all of the essential nutrients for human growth and maintenance of health.
2) Vegetable- This is the next important food group. Vegetables are rich source of minerals, and vitamins, and enzymes. They also contain the highest quality complete proteins.
3) Fruits- Fruits are a powerful source of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, As well as easily digestible fruit sugar that our bodies need to produce energy everyday.
We should follow portion sizes of the food groups that we need for a healthy life style,
Because we tend to eat more of the groups at the top of the pyramid. Which are meat, milk, and fats. Eating to much of these can cause weight gain, and elevated cholesterol. You should focus more on...
