du is a telecommunication company in the UAE. Legal name Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) commercially rebranded as du in February 2006. 
It is 40 percent owned by the UAE Federal Government, 20% by Mubadala Development Company, 20% by TECOM Investments and 20% by public shareholders. It is listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and trades under the name du.
du currently provides Mobile communications, fixed line, Internet and pay TV services over Ethernet in some of the free zones of Dubai, following its purchase of TECOM Investments' telecom assets. Du considered the first telecommunication company in the world that provides four full services at the same time.
In 2006 the UAE's telecom market was still a monopoly, with government owned operator Etisalat. In fact the entrance of telecom operator du in February marked a vital shift. In less than a year, du has managed to grab a 15 per cent of the mobile telecom market and analysts predict that it will continue to grow in the years to come.

du Infrastructure
du company have a very huge and hybrid environment of infrastructure. They have more than 60 server distributed over more than one data center.
Web Servers:
They have more than 20 clustered web servers. Servers used are Solaris and HP. Web Servers operating system is UNIX. Web server software used is Apache. Server scripting language is Java language.
Database Servers:
They have more than 20 clustered (Active / Active) database servers. Database servers used are Solaris and HP. Operating System which operates the database servers is UNIX. Database servers’ software used is Oracle.
They have also some special application used like BEA WEBLOGIC, ORACLE FUSION & J-BOSS. For the E-mail server they use JMS (java massage...
