Drugs In Our Society
The consumption of drug has been done in all societies for ages, but with the pass of the time it has changed the characteristics of the consumption. This situation is because the influence of social factors. Now days, our society is infest with this issue “DRUGS”. The use of most of the drugs are illegal, however it had become normal to use it.
It is frequently see that its consumption can be from a regular kid to a high executive person. As an example we can go to the street and find a lot of homeless people asking you money for food, when actually they are asking money for alcohol or even drugs other example is the recently elected governor of New York David Paterson said that he used cocaine in his 20s.
Also we can see than some drugs are also legal for example the alcohol and marihuana, there is a high risk of probability that the person that take this drugs became a drug addict. Most of the people denied that there are drug addict, they always said that they can leave to consume whenever they want. This is only a denial attitude, which they have that is the first sign that they are in a problem.
Let’s start with the definition of drugs: what is drug? Drug is a substance that is introduce in our organism and can change its function. It is easy to understand that anything that is introduced to your body can change it in some way. There are many toxics substance that can change and cause damage to your brains and organism that easily can be the cause of death.
We can consider drug addiction, through drugs and alcohol, as an aggression to our own life. Drugs are the easy way to destroy your body physically and mentally. The drug addiction in our society has increase that is why drugs addiction is consider as a disease.
