The bad part of drug abuse affects not only the drug user but there family and friends also. It also affects our economy .According to ONDCP the economic cost of drug abuse to the United States was 180.9 billion. The shameful part of drug abuse is ill health, sickness and in some cases death. Some drug addicts inquire major illness like hepatitis and hiv/aid through needle drug use.
Drugs is an abuse of the mind altering substance. Some narcotics cause not only health problems, but also
violent and potentially criminal acts. A mind-altering narcotic can be defined
as both the legal and illegal type. . Most of these
drugs are highly addictive and are usually obtained by prescription or are
considered a banned substance and must be purchased illegally. Drugs are easily found on the street it looks like every city has drug dealers on every corner .Drug dealers are people who sell different types of drugs illegal to the people in the society .Drug dealers make a lot of money a day there, are not strict enough punishments to keep the drug dealers from dealing drugs on the city streets. There are several types of drugs and each one has it’s own affect to it .there is cocaine powder it is taking by inhaling through the nose and sometimes it can be smoked. When smoked the name changes and it becomes hard and is known as crack on the streets. Crack is very harmful and leads to psychological problems. Marijuana ia another popular one this one can be grown in any sunny place a lot of marijuana is sized of the streets each year from drug dealers .If to much is smoked it can cause you to feel depressed and unwell. Alcohol is one that is costing many lives in society a lot of people chooses to drink and drive .It is very harmful to the body to much can cause cirrhosis of the liver that causes the liver to damage and in some cases death follows.
