Phillip was being disobedient and was given a chance to apologize. On page 63 Dr. Palleni says “Miss Narwin asked you to stop. You didn’t. You continued to sing. You were disobedient. On page 113 Miss Narwin says “The boy was creating a serious disturbance.” She tells what happened and proves that she kicked him out, not suspended him. If the case went to court, then Phillip Malloy would win. On page 51 Phillip says “What would you say if a teacher said I wasn’t allowed to sing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner?” First of all, it is rule to remain silent, second of all Ms Narwin gave Phillip a warning, and lastly, he was humming not singing. It’s just a thing I like to do. Sing along when the song is played.” Phillip never sang in Mr. Lunser’s room, and again, he is humming not

Philip was the most to blame because of his actions, Mr. and Mrs. Malloy are to blame as well, and even though Miss Narwin is a good teacher, she is to blame. Philip Malloy is the most to blame because he could have avoided being suspended, losing his friends, and changing his schools, by just apologizing to Miss Narwin, but he was too prideful and then he lied to everyone about everything. From Philips mistakes, we can learn that we have to swallow our pride in hard situations and always tell the truth, even if it hurts, because if we do not do that, then we could hit a lot of people and lose…

Next to the witness stand was the notorious, Bob Ewell, father of Mayella and God knows how many more children. He handled all the questions in a nonchalant sarcastic tone with bits of unnecessary profanity. During his testimony, Judge Taylor stated there has been a request to “clear the court”. Taylor, afraid of Mr. Ewell’s foul language damaging the innocent ears of women and young children, said this as a precautionary warning to Ewell. Judge Taylor also stated that he’ll let everyone stay unless they begin to misbehave, which in that case, he would have them up for contempt of court.…

The argument was that he negatively affected the school environment by insulting the girls of the school, and nearly traumatizing the younger students. So, the court decided punishment was within the school's full right, since Fraser's actions had to largely impacted the common good, and ultimate goal of the school, saying "The school disciplinary rule proscribing 'obscene' language and the prespeech admonitions of teachers gave adequate warning to Fraser that his lewd speech could subject him to sanctions." Meaning he knew that he could get in trouble for what he did and did it…

I think that all the schools in America should have a flag of the U.S on display. It’s good to have a flag at your house. If anyone does have a flag, they should take it down in bad weather like snow, rain, or windy weather. If you do have a flag, you need to all ways take it down at night unless there is a light shining on it. You should always sing the National Anthem at sporting events and say the pledge of Allegiance at political events because it is a good way to show that you love and support your country.…

That by teaching children the pledge in schools, we are forcing them to show loyalty to our country, our flag, and our government. That because children cannot yet fully understand what they are swearing allegiance to and are not taught it that they are being brainwashed. “has been pounding away on the impressionable minds of children for generations.” (Crawford, 2015)…
