Brock email is unprofessional, the email she sent makes the member thinks the bank is hiding something aftermath which made the members react the way they acted. The message she sent is like asking the members to accept information she are asking them to accept as true or actions you want them to accept and enact. Her email is the basis of real persuasion and is made up of data and hard facts, plus the reasoning behind the claim from the members to know what actually is going on with the bank. Brocks actually did a good job explaining why certain situation is just the way it is.
From the reading, I think the flaw from the use of evidence and logic led to this problem, I fail to see the logic behind her message, moreover, there's no logic in the decision not to allow the members to attend the meeting, also not to consider them as member, not allow them to vote. The evidence is what they members seen that actually led to the problem.
Now, they need to send out a message to the members depicting the truth of the whole situation that the bank is merging. In the message they should state the advantages to be derived from the merger and lastly letting them to know that they will still be regard as the bank members, will still be allowed to attend meeting and to vote. The best way to send this message is to call the meeting of the stakeholders, shareholders and that of the bank member. From there the message could be convey to them.
