At first when I chose my major of Criminal Justice I wasn’t really sure that I wanted to do it. This semester has really drove me closer to it. The probation officer that I met has a lot to do with it and the movies that I have recently watch are getting me interested also. I just recently seen American gangster an documentary film about the notorious Frank Lucas. Throughout the entire movie I was putting the evidence that the police was finding together to see if they had a legit case against him. The police never had any hard evidence against him until one of frank’s cousins work with them as an informant giving them key information on the drug trafficking. This gave them probable cause to stop vehicles that frank and his family members were driving leading them to tons of heroin. In the case the police brought up conspiracies charges and drug trafficking against frank and he face life in prison. He eventually gave them names and reduces his sentences to 15 years. Another showed that I watched on you tube was Ross Kemp on gangs a British man who travels the world to interview some of the most dangerous gangs in the world. I know he must have some type of connection to talk to these gangs from different countries because most people would be killed. Although it is very dangerous I would love to do that to travel the world and view the different lifestyles of different gangs would be kind of cool.
