Scents & Things is relaxation therapies store that supplies customer’s with all the necessary tools and techniques to do at home relaxation therapy. The stores offers a wide range of products which include at home salon services like cellulite, body, an cosmetic treatments, reflexology, aromatherapy, candles and perfume blending. All products focus on the achievement of obtaining a healthy balance of mind, body, and spirit. With the use of these products customers who are experiencing the feeling of being stressed from their busy jobs, schoolwork, and personal activities can find the healthy balance and achieve overall relaxation. This paper will explain and define Scents & Things mission and vision statements, and the company’s values and how they assist in determining the strategic direction.
Mission Statement
Scents & Things has been designed to service a very diverse clientele of customers from different races, cultures, and ethnicities that want to achieve a common goal of relaxation. Customers wanting to achieve this common goal of relaxation will come all social and income levels but generally will be comprised of people who are concerned about their physical and spiritual well being. The company needs to differentiate the services being offered so that the company stands out from its competition. The best way for Scents & things to achieve this is to provide excellence service and high quality products that make customers want to come back. The company will also provide relaxation workshops for the customers so that customers can experience new tools and techniques firsthand.
