INTRODUCTION

A computer is an electronic device, controlled by a set of instructions stored in its memory, to accept, processes data according to specified rules and store the results for future use. A computer user is anyone who communicates with a computer or utilizes the information it generates. Since computers are becoming prevalent in today’s society almost every home has one, they are found in businesses, schools and organizations. They were made to make life simpler for individuals. Computers have brought about some, legal, ethical, economic and health implication on individuals, societies and organization.

LEGAL IMPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER BASED
SYSTEMS ON INDIVIDUALS, ORGANISATION AND SOCIETY

Some legal implications of computers are that they have become an important tool for law enforcement officers in their fight against crime.
