Abstract:
This essay will look at comparing and contrasting The Rule of Benedict and The Ritz Carlton’s guidelines on how to receive and treat guests. It will explain the definition of Hospitality by discussing how experts in this field have interpritated this key phrase and how this one word encaptulates the virtue of basic human decency over time. There will also be evidence produced showing the similarities and differences between both organisations in how they are guided in there quest for offering perfect Hospitality. In conclusion I will show that there are lessons that we can learn from the past that have to be adapted to the future.
