The causes of World War I was different than the causes of the World War II in that the World War I started because of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria versus the Nazism started off by Adolf Hitler; the similarities was that the Germany was involved in both World War I and World War II.
The World War I started because of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. He was the heir to the throne of the Austria-Hungary. The World War II started because of the Nazism which started by Adolf Hitler. He had tried to make his first revolution during the World War I at the Munich Putsch also known as the Beer Hall putsch but he ended up in the prison for a year. The World War II was also more violent than the World War I because Adolf Hitler made the Jewish toward genocide. He also tried to expand German by conquering Europe. Although he was successful by using the Blitzkrieg fighting method but he was eventually defeated by the Red Army. The Japanese was the other reasons why that the World War II was bloodier. They surprisingly attacked the Pearl Harbor at 7: 48 a.m. 2,403 people died and most of them were US navy. Then it led to the revenge by the USA. On the August 6, President Harry Truman commanded the US air force to drop atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Within the first 4 months about 166,000 people in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki. About 16.5 million people died in World War I and about 50-70 million people died in World War II.
