Clear and Concise Technical Instructions
The Sharp DVD player, model DV-560, operation manual instructions are clear, concise, and easy to comprehend when installing the DVD player in the home. The user manual consists of the main important parts: contents, safety and precautions, features, step by step instructions, and definition of terms.
The contents page is one of the first major parts that are seen in the user manual. This tells the owner what page the information they are looking for is on. Looking on the contents page, the owner is able to see what page preparing the remote is on. Flipping to that page it gives graphics and directions on installing the batteries into the remote to begin setting the functions on the DVD player (Sharp, page 13).
Safety and precautions are important in any manual whether it is on a children’s toy or an electrical device. The safety and precautions page on the Sharp DVD player states that the laser beam used in the DVD player is harmful to the eyes and if having problems do not try to dissemble the cabinet, a professional should be called (Sharp, page 5).
